This is a little old, but whatever. It’s from my forums. Anyway, you can still vote for me. The competition is still open, but I’m not sure for how long. And the fact that my host is going down this weekend won’t help me either.
Well, today is the may 1st reboot, and WebFuzion Designs is nowhere near finished. I still have to add some pages, a comment system, and more. So it looks like I won’t be participating in the reboot after all.
For those of you who don’t know, the May 1st Reboot is an annual competition where people launch a new version of their website on May 1st. It has been going on since 2000, and the prizes are excellent. This year you have the chance to win lifetime hosting from Media Temple, valued at thousands of dollars with unmetered bandwidth.
I entered the competition on the last day of registration, but haven’t had a chance to do anything serious with it. Besides, the competition is based around Flash, so the chance of me winning was very slim.
